I wanted to leave Las Vegas this summer. I wanted to use my tax return to move back to Portland or maybe even pay some bills. Unfortunately, losing my job changed that; my return paid my March and April bills. That helped give me time to find a new job. My self-esteem is a little shot and I’ve been slacking pretty hard. My best friend is moving to LA to live with her boyfriend and she’ll be a 3.5 hr drive away, so staying in Vegas has become more attractive. The fact is, for now, I’m stuck here, and I need all the help I can get to stay positive. I will adapt my plan as necessary.
